The area benefits from the confluence of two opposite climates: the Atlantic and the Mediterranean, which provide mild temperatures and annual rainfall >400 L/m^2, ideal conditions for the vine. There are three zones with differentiated wine-growing characteristics: Rioja Alta, Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Oriental.

TASTING NOTES:

This Special Edition of Pata Negra Rioja Crianza has an appealing ruby- red color and a delicate texture. On the nose, red fruit aromas stand out over a more complex background, which combines vanilla, clove and aromatic herbs.  On the palate, it is tasty and structured, leaving a soft sensation due to its 12 months aging in barrel.
